At only 13 she survived the Kaprun disaster, a tragic gondola accident where her brother and she lost there entire team. This traumatic experience shaped her into the person she is today. After many painful setbacks, she finally reached her goal: 2014, Julia Dujmovits won the first ever Olympic Gold Medal in snowboarding for Austria.

At the Olympics 2018 and a third place at the Overall World Cup, Julia took a break from snowboarding to realign body, mind and soul. Braking with everyone conventions of classic high performance training and following exclusively her intuition Julia started a spiritual and adventurous journey which might bring her back to the 2022 Winter Olympics. Manuela Jungo

Since an early age, I have been incredibly passionate about the outdoors and sport. Growing up I followed a very academic upbringing through higher education which led me to brand manager for a Swiss watch company.

Always wanting to explore life possibilities around me and with a hunger for travel, I started kiteboarding in 2006 in the Dominican Republic.  Putting as much time as I could to improve my riding whilst still studying and working I decided in 2010 to take a break from working life to see the world as well as focus on kiteboarding more.  Realizing this was the lifestyle and sport I wanted to follow I started looking for sponsors to help and support me to become a professional athlete.

Through the support of sponsors, I have been able to push my level of riding and make it to compete on the Professional Kiteboarding World Tour (PKRA).  I am very proud to have ranked 5th in the World from 2012 until 2014.

My focus changed a bit after that because I needed a new challenge. I now travel more to places that I want to go to and produce content for brands and magazines.

My goal is to show how important it is to have a passion and to believe in yourself. I also hope that I can inspire people on my trips and via my social media channels to work hard and live their dreams.

Since the 29th of November 2019 a proud mother of Kona.

Lexi Novitske

I grew up in a town of 100 people in the Western U.S, where our biggest event was the annual Rocky Mountain Oyster cookout (if you don’t know what RMOs are – google it!)  I dreamt of the big city and made my way to NY to direct investments at a hedge fund. But that didn’t last -- I had inherited a love for exploration and embarked on an adventure that was as diverse as stowing away on an iron-ore train traversing Mauritania to migrating with nomadic caribou herders. Eventually, my adventurous want brought me to Lagos where I eventually set up and ran a family office-backed venture capital firm. It was a great opportunity and our companies did great. But, it wasn't mine... so, I bought it.  The acquisition of the portfolio closed last year and now I'm moving onward to raise a fund. I still love to travel, but I've made Lagos my home (7 years and counting). To tie it all up: I'm also a lover of the ocean: a diver, a mediocre surfer, and a kiter. I invest in early-stage African technology companies that are transforming how businesses and consumers engage, trade, and make decisions. And, I'm obsessed with my dog, Disco.
